SalesOn vs Delta Sales App: the sticker price, and the real one
Delta Sales App actually publishes its pricing — credit where it’s due. But the dollar figure on the page and the rupee figure on your invoice are two different numbers once setup, training and integrations get added in. Let’s do that math properly.
Delta Sales App is genuinely transparent on its base subscription — four tiers, clearly priced in USD, offline mode included. What the listing doesn’t shout about is that expert setup, sales team training and key integrations are separate paid add-ons, with data migration specifically excluded. SalesOn’s number is smaller on paper but bigger in what it includes: INR pricing, zero setup fee, and onboarding bundled in from day one.

Why this comparison needs a calculator, not just a glance
Delta Sales App deserves real credit here: unlike most of the competitors in this space, it actually lists its prices in public, in clear tiers, with no “contact sales” wall in the way. That’s rare, and it makes for an easier conversation than most enterprise software pitches.
The catch worth flagging, though, is what sits just outside that headline number. Expert setup and go-live support is billed separately. Sales team training is billed separately. Data migration is explicitly carved out of the setup package. None of that makes Delta dishonest — it’s a legitimate à la carte pricing model — but it does mean the “$10/user/month” figure and your actual first invoice can look quite different.
| Vendor | Pricing reality | Offline mode | Getting started |
|---|---|---|---|
| SalesOn | Pro ₹209/user/mo (annual); Enterprise ₹333/user/mo (annual); monthly ₹250/₹400 | No | ₹0 setup, no minimum users, 30-day onboarding included, basic training and data import help included |
| Delta Sales App | Public: Tracker+ $10/user/mo annual ($12 quarterly); Power $15 ($20); Standard $25 ($32); Advanced $40 ($50) | Yes — works without internet, auto-syncs when back online | Expert Setup & Go-Live Support is a paid add-on; Sales Team Training is a paid add-on; data migration is explicitly excluded from setup |
Don’t compare the headline number alone. With Delta, the real question is what the setup add-on, the training add-on and the integration add-on bring your per-user cost to once they’re all stacked on top of the base plan.
The dollar price vs the all-in price
To Delta’s credit, this is one of the clearer pricing pages in the category. The honesty test isn’t whether the numbers are public — they are — it’s whether the publicly listed number is the number you’ll actually pay.
| Vendor | Public pricing? | Starting price | Custom quote needed? | Setup & onboarding | Offline | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SalesOn | Yes | Pro ₹209/user/mo annual; Enterprise ₹333/user/mo annual | No, for Pro/Enterprise — Ultimate (50+ users) is custom | ₹0 setup, no minimum users, onboarding and basic training included | No | High |
| Delta Sales App | Yes | Tracker+ $10/user/mo; Power $15; Standard $25; Advanced $40 (annual billing) | No for base plans — add-ons are “contact sales” | Setup, training and some integrations are separate paid add-ons; migration is excluded | Yes | High |
Run this formula before comparing dollar-to-rupee figures at face value: first-year cost = annual subscription + setup + data migration + training + integrations + add-on modules + support + GST. For Delta specifically, ask for that full number converted to INR, in writing, before you sign.
What stands out with SalesOn: the quoted INR price already includes setup and basic training — there’s no second invoice waiting after the first one. With Delta, ask directly what the setup and training add-ons cost before treating the base plan as your real number.
What’s included, and what’s an add-on

Which one actually fits your business
The right call depends less on the sticker price and more on whether you want à la carte or all-inclusive.
| If this sounds like you… | Look toward | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 5–20 reps, want one INR number with no surprises later | SalesOn | Setup and basic training are bundled in, so the quoted price is close to your real cost. |
| Comfortable picking add-ons à la carte to control cost | Delta Sales App | Pay only for setup, training or integrations you actually need — useful if your team is technical enough to self-serve some of it. |
| Reps working low or no-network routes | Either — both support offline capture | Test offline behaviour live on both before deciding; don’t take it on faith from either vendor. |
| Manufacturer that also needs production/BOM | SalesOn | Delta doesn’t publicly claim a production module; SalesOn bundles it with sales and distribution. |
| Team that wants Tally/Busy sync without a separate paid integration | SalesOn | Tally/Busy integration is included with SalesOn; with Delta, confirm if it’s bundled or billed. |
Choose / avoid, plainly
Lean SalesOn if…
- You want one INR number that already covers setup and basic training
- Zero setup fee and no minimum seats matter to your budget
- You need order taking, GST billing, payments, DMS, van sales and Tally/Busy in one place, without separate integration billing
- Production planning alongside sales and distribution is useful to you
Lean away from SalesOn if…
- Offline capture is non-negotiable for your reps
- You’d rather pick and pay for add-ons individually than take a bundled price
- You only need route mapping or CRM, not GST/DMS workflows
And the same, honestly, for Delta Sales App
Lean Delta if…
- You want field tracking, order taking, route planning, van sales, basic DMS, payments and attendance, with offline support
- You’re comfortable with USD pricing and paying separately for setup, training and the customer app
- You’ll get the full add-on cost confirmed in writing, including data migration, before signing
Lean away from Delta if…
- You want SalesOn-style all-inclusive INR pricing with zero setup/minimum-user clarity
- You can’t get the actual first-year number, in INR, confirmed in writing
- Your team needs production/BOM, which Delta doesn’t publicly offer
What real users are saying
Public reviews are a useful signal, not a final verdict — sample size and platform both shape what you’re seeing.
| Vendor | What’s out there | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| SalesOn | A newer review footprint — G2 currently shows no reviews, and Capterra’s listing has no visible rating yet. Read that as “still building a public track record,” not as a quality signal either way. | High |
| Delta Sales App | The vendor’s own site cites a 4.4 user rating and 100,000+ users; Google Play shows 3.9★ from 710 reviews. Positive themes mention ease of use and order flow. Recurring watch-outs mention add-on costs for setup, training, the B2B app and integrations. | High |
Getting it running
| Software type | Typical timeline | What to have ready | Risk if rushed |
|---|---|---|---|
| SME-focused SFA/DMS, all-inclusive pricing | Fast, if your masters are ready | Product list, customer list, price lists, beats, GST setup, Tally/Busy export format | Low to medium |
| SME-focused SFA, à la carte add-ons | Fast for the base app; longer if paid setup/training is added | Same masters, plus clarity on which add-ons you’re purchasing and when they’re delivered | Low to medium |
Have these ready before kickoff: product master, customer/retailer master, beat plans, price lists, scheme rules, GST/HSN settings, Tally/Busy export format, sales hierarchy and admin roles, and a training plan for reps, admins and accounts.
The real first-year number
| Line item | Question to ask before you sign |
|---|---|
| User license | Priced per user, per device, per outlet or per module? |
| Setup fee | Free and included, or a separate paid go-live package? |
| Data migration | Is importing your product and customer masters included, or explicitly excluded? |
| Training | Are reps, admins and accounts staff all covered, or is this a paid add-on per group? |
| Integrations | Is Tally/Busy/ERP sync included, paid, or one-way only? |
| Currency & GST | If pricing is in USD, what’s the final INR figure after conversion and tax? |
| Renewal | Can the price jump after year one? Is there a lock-in, and does it apply per add-on too? |
What to test in your demo
| Test | What you’re watching for | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Order booking | Can a rep build a full order — stock, price, scheme, customer — without friction? | Must-have |
| GST invoice flow | Does the order become an invoice without re-typing anything? | Must-have |
| Tally/Busy export | Ask for an actual sample file, and confirm if this integration is free or billed. | Must-have |
| Offline behaviour | Put the phone in airplane mode and watch what actually happens. | Must-have for rural routes |
| Full quote, itemised | Ask for a single document listing subscription, setup, training and integrations, in your local currency. | Must-have |
| Data export | If you leave one day, can you take your customers, orders and payments with you? | Must-have |
